In 2022, instead of conducting its own Wine Direct-to-Consumer survey, Wine Australia has worked with WineDirect and Enolytics to bring new insights to wine businesses on the performance of direct-to-consumer (DTC) sales in Australia. These insights are derived from the analysis and reporting of transactional sales data recorded on the WineDirect platform, which is an accurate source of pre-existing data that does not require wineries to complete a survey. The number of businesses included in this analysis is higher than the usual number of respondents completing the Wine Australia Wine Direct-to-Consumer survey.
